What is an overnight funding charge?

Overnight funding (swap rate) is the charge you pay or receive for holding a position over 11:59 server time (rollover)/ 5pm New York time. To view current swap rates on your MT5 account right hand click on the market watch and click 'symbols'. Choose the symbol you would like to check and select specification. There you will see swap rates for long and short positions.
